Barnstorming Happy Rock

Mostly clear skies and temperatures in the 20° C range mad for a good day barnstorming the skies.  Winds shifted northeasterly in the afternoon, then began to diminish around 3:00 pm.  Lift was not so great then, so we abandoned the effort.

Trees and power lines are not much of a terror in this space though, and the Sopwith Camel fared well in the open space.  One curious onlooker stared in wonder, then made to retrieve the downed fighter the instant the opportunity presented itself, only to pause in shock when it took flight again.

Another arriving on the scene took the reigns for a moment, before deciding she was not particular fond of the tugging line.  Soccer was more easily manipulated, so she pursued that vein.
