HHS-OIG Search Tool Report

The HHS-OIG Search report is used to screen Life Unlimited employee records against the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) exclusion list. The report allows users to compare employee information against OIG records and identify potential matches requiring further review. It supports compliance, hiring, and ongoing workforce monitoring activities.

OIG Matching

The OIG Matching page serves as the primary compliance review dashboard for employee exclusion screening. By default, the report displays individuals that exactly match Last Name, First Name, and Date of Birth between employee records and OIG data. Selecting a record displays matching employee and OIG records for review.

The page allows users to:
  • Search the HHS-OIG exclusion list.
  • Compare employee records to OIG records.
  • Review potential employee matches.
  • Validate matching names and dates of birth.
  • Investigate possible exclusion-list hits requiring follow-up.
  • Monitor the currency of source data extracts.
The page displays:
  • Employee records
  • OIG exclusion records.
  • Exact-match candidate records.
  • Search tools and filters for reviewing potential matches.

Version Notes

The Version Notes page documents report calculations, business rules, data source changes, enhancement history, and report maintenance activities. It serves as the technical documentation for the report and provides reference information for users who need to understand how the report is built, maintained, and updated.
